The team at Cre8ion worked with the client to design the new logo and put together an explanation as part of the rebranding package…

The first and most noticeable aspect of the logo is the green hue. This reflects the natural source materials. This is also shown by the inclusion of a tree. This has very obvious links with carpentry and is bold enough to be recognisable. The broad arc the tree sits upon is representative of the wide range of skill and craftsmanship that Youwood brings to its clients. This is all rounded of with the title placed below to reinforce the idea of quality and skill overall.

Alison’s amazing project planning ability as well as her expertise within the motion arena has helped us pull off some of our largest projects. Cre8ion were approached by Knowle West Health Association (KWHA) to design their logo which was inspired by the services and ethos they carry forward. The seven leaves represent the seven different services they offer to the community in helping support the area.

The colours are very muted based around the idea of growth and health, so a calm green hue was chosen to show this. The logo stands symbolically for healthy growth and community based thinking which should sit well with such an organisation.

Matt Damon (who plays politician Dave Norris) is not Bourne in this, but a people-person who meets the love of his life. The love his life, Elise Sellas (played by Emily Blunt, who gives a star performance), is a dancer, but she is not in the plan that’s been mapped out for Norris. This is where the Adjustment Bureau comes in, to keep Norris on track and away from Elise. 

The love element is strong without being over romanticised. The action is fast, but not Bond. It is a very human story with supernatural overtones. The ending is convincing and leaves the audience with questions about life, its purpose and whether we can determine life’s outcome and avoid the inevitability of fatalism.

Our most ‘mature’ member of the team brings with it an extensive knowledge in the Editorial arena. During his long career Julian has worked with the BBC to serving many charitable organisations needing his specialist skills in dealing with the press. Julian forever keeps Cre8ion on its toes by keeping one eye on the future developments within the industry whilst pursuing his passion in film, photography and scriptwriting.
His very English tone provides the team with a statesman whose Welsh origin is only revealed when the rugby is on!
